Believe it or not, you don't have to use a library to fetch GraphQL data🤯. In this post, we explore four simple ways to call a GraphQL API (IDEs, curl, fetch, and GraphQL clients).

In my opinion GraphQL is the ultimate API gateway – regardless of the underlying databases you are using.
If your API is only tied to a single database that’s fine, but where it really shines is when it’s consuming multiple databases, microservices, and Serverless functions.
⚡ There's a new way to do local GraphQL development.
We’re thrilled to announce Dev Graphs: a way to get all of Explorer's productivity-boosting features in your local development environment 🎉.
This powerful GraphQL IDE is free to use. Forever.

When building real-time apps with GraphQL, one of the most common use cases is filtered subscriptions with arguments (think a chat app, rooms with messages filtered by room ID)
See my new video below to learn how it's done.

It's fetch Friday! 🎉
Want to get some data from a GraphQL API but you don't want to configure a GraphQL client? Send a fetch request!

#GraphQL
.@_darkfadr's talk will focus on observability and the various techniques and tools we can use to understand how our #GraphQL services are running in production.
Learn more at #GraphQLGalaxy:
X: when would you NOT use #AppSync?
me: since AppSync gives you managed #GraphQL server as a service, so if you need a REST API instead then you won't use AppSync. Also, you wouldn't use AppSync if you need GraphQL/Apollo features that are not supported by AppSync
Offline-first apps can be challenging. Most require resources to store data locally and guarantee consistency between devices.
Join me at @AngularUP to learn how we can use Offline-first, #graphql and Amplify DataStore to work offline and support real time collaboration! ✨🚀
We are looking for speakers to help us kick off our very first event!
Interested to speak or have an idea of a great talk? We would love to hear about it!
