Let’s examine the incredibly misleading number of 6% that Bill uses to make things sound far worse than they actually are:

All human carbon emissions from all sources including farming are around 4%. The other 96% happens whether humans are here or not.

Now back to the 4%, the cows constitute 6% of that overall 4% which actually translates into less than 1/4 of 1% of worldwide carbon emissions. Translation: the impact of cows on carbon emissions is absolutely inconsequential.
