Beginning July 20, Claude Fable 5 will be included in all Max and Team Premium plans, at 50% of limits.

Pro and Team Standard users will continue to have access to Fable via usage credits, and will receive a one-time $100 credit.

Demand for Fable has been challenging to predict, which is why we rolled it out to subscription plans in stages, extending access several times as we secured additional capacity.

Fable 5 is back.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.

The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.

Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

- Vue is not part of this - it remains an independent project. That said, the acquisition does make it possible for me to better financially support the people contributing to or working full-time on Vue. More on this soon.

- Nothing really changes for the relationship between Vue itself and the people in the Vue ecosystem now working at Vercel. I remain close friends with the Nuxt team and Eduardo. I’m confident that @rauchg will continue to support Nuxt the same way we intended to keep Vite vendor-neutral.

⚠️ Next.js – WebSocket Upgrade SSRF (CVSS 8.6) 

A server-side request forgery vulnerability in Next.js allows unauthenticated attackers to force self-hosted instances to make internal HTTP requests via the WebSocket upgrade handler. 
By sending a crafted absolute-form HTTP request with Upgrade: websocket headers, attackers can access internal services, cloud metadata endpoints, admin panels, and internal APIs reachable from the Next.js server on port 80. Successful exploitation may expose cloud credentials, API keys, secrets, and configuration data. 

Affected: Next.js 13.4.13+, 14.x, 15.x <15.5.16, 16.0.0–16.2.4 

Mitigation: Upgrade immediately to 15.5.16 or 16.2.5.
