i left Cursor.
after 10 years inside the tech bubble in San Francisco, Cursor felt like the sharpest version of that world – fast, intense, ambitious, full of people trying to pull the future closer.
i’m leaving with gratitude, but also with the feeling that i need a different rhythm.
slower time. different weather. more culture, aliveness, and humans in the everyday.
Asia feels like the right place to begin again.
to stay grounded, experience life more fully, and build freely.
i’ll share what i find along the way!
everyone needs to spend at least 1 month of their life completely f**king off to a beach town by the sea, turning off the news, paying attention to nothing "important", making new friends, walking around barefoot and shirtless all day, learning to surf, eating fresh fruit & drinking cocos, growing your hair out & not responding to any text messages.
this is how you free yourself
@daniel__designs@jameygannon@jayrizpop Okay yea you’ll get more understanding of a product problem by iterating on it after feedback. But doing that year in year out on the same problem does become boring. Which I think was her initial point.
btw in your 20's and 30’s you’ll start rediscovering the niche interests and hobbies you had as a kid. it’s very important you revisit them. your younger self was actually on to something.
