I’ve long maintained that the Sokoto caliphate is behind the Fulani killings in Nigeria. Interestingly, the US committee that was pondering the CPC designation suggested the investigation of Sultan & the caliphate regarding these killings. Senator Shehu here was the chairman of the senate committee on security. His counterpart, the former governor whose successor fingered as a terrorist sponsor is the minister of state for defence
These guys are not mere criminals bribing soldiers to look away, they’re at the pinnacle of Nigeria’s defence infrastructure. When we say that this genocide is state-backed, we’re not mincing words. We’re not saying that the state is complacent, we’re not even saying they’re complicit because that diminishes their involvement, we’re saying the Nigerian government is responsible for the mass killings and displacement of its citizens.
I love how the Southerners are amplifying that senator's "terrorism allegations", way way louder than his own people. All of us from the north are quite and un bothered or scared to speak up. Watch how the whole thing will now carry weight. What is wrong with us fgs???
Shame on Arewa. It took people from the South to bring public attention to allegations that a senator from the North is sponsoring insecurity. Yet many northern influencers remain silent about it. If it were mere gossip, everyone would be posting it on their pages.
The Sharia Council and Sokoto Caliphate are defending Senator Shehu Buba, and honestly, this explains a lot.
It partly explains why most Arewa media outlets have remained silent on this heavy accusations against the Senator.
To them, this seems to have become a religious cause rather than an issue of accountability.
Who did this to Nigeria?
We are actually finished in this country. This senator has to be investigated.
It's quite unfortunate that the people meant to protect their citizens are the ones sponsoring their killings.
A sitting Nigerian Senator linked to terrorism, a fleeing whistleblower, and an alleged cross border hunt in Niger Republic yet Arewa Twitter is dead silent?
How do explosive terror allegations against high ranking leaders drop and the timeline acts like nothing happened? Shame
What are you saying.
This same man had same allegations in 2024, and a whole Supreme Council For Shariah released a press release on his behalf.
Do you understand that Shariah requires basis for taking any stance, and they gave a press statement in his favour, even saying other politicians are using Machiavellian tactics.
The Shar'eeh position for slander is establishment of evidence before passing a judgement.
They absolved him without following the due process the same deen they are about has set over 1400 years ago.
Today, evidence is emerging that the man is complicit.
A whole Supreme Council For Shariah vouched for a man without doing due diligence.
Nah men.
At this point, I honestly can't be bothered by Arewa.
Just do your part and move on.
Allah ya shirye ni, kai, and al'ummah gaba daya.
Making the videos about Sen. Sani Buba go viral is only a tiny part of this whole thing. If the allegations against him are true, then they are among the gravest accusations that can be levelled against any public official, especially someone who chairs or has worked closely on national security matters. They deserve a thorough, independent investigation, and not only social media trial.
Rivers State, What Is This? 😯 😳

THIS LEVEL OF SECURITY BREACH SHOULD NOT BE SWEPT UNDER THE RUG.
AN ALLEGED TERRORSIM FINANCIER CHAIRED ON SENATE COMMITTEE ON NATIONAL SECURITY AND FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE, THIS MAN ALSO SEATS IN THE LEGISLATIVE CHAMBER IN THE COUNTRY.
THIS RAISES HUGE QUESTIONS ON THE VETTING PROCESS AND THE NATIONAL SECURITY APPARATUS.
A high profile person in the nation, a senator, was directly linked to terrorism with facts, but everywhere is quiet. The TL is moving as if this is not something of national importance.
Bro, we’re not yet ready. We are not angry enough.
BOOM 💥
So the issue of Senator Shehu Buba didn't start today, there was a time Governor of Bauchi wrote a letter to the President about him, but it was brushed as “It’s just politics”
After listening to the current HNO of WAEC this evening, I am deeply concerned about his incompetence, arrogance and apparent lack of empathy. I do not believe someone with this attitude should head such an important academic institution.
Babcock University High School reportedly told him that out of 199 students who sat this year’s WAEC, only 22 passed both English and Mathematics, something they say has never happened in 25 years.
Instead of treating such an extraordinary outcome as something worth investigating, he allegedly laughed it off, dismissed faith-based schools and suggested that perhaps they had been committing examination malpractice in previous years.
The court will resolve this soon.
