Train services through Northumberland Park are being disrupted due to earlier overhead wire damage. Repairs have been made to the overhead wire and it is working as designed. However this caused an issue with the signalling system and as a result trains are being cautioned past the signal, causing delays to trains in the area.
Network Rail engineers a re working as quickly as possible to fix the problem.

Trains are unable to run between Bishops Stortford and Audley End , with services either cancelled, or terminating, or starting at different locations, however there is a half hourly train shuttle between Audley End and Cambridge. We have actively been looking to source rail replacement buses between Cambridge and Stansted Airport but have so far been unsuccessful due to bus operators on other commitments. We are still looking further afield for bus provision. Passengers are advised not to travel on this route.
