The Mbira is a family of musical instruments traditional to the Shona people of Zimbabwe. Through preserving and amplifying this cultural heritage, the #GreatZimbabweDP is creating a lever for socio-economic development in the Masvingo region.

As part of the #GreatZimbabweDP’s holistic approach to Masvingo’s tourist infrastructure, the project will encourage visitors to spend time visiting attractions like the Kyle Dam at Lake Mutirikwi - currently full and flowing for the first time since 2008. Spectacular!
