Hajjah Haniyah is older than the State of Israel, and she is about to spend another winter in Gaza in a tent. She reads the Quran from an old, worn copy, and recites from memory: “And when I am ill, He heals me.” Asked whether she is ready for the cold, she doesn’t talk about blankets or plastic sheeting. She answers that only God holds the keys to the unseen, and that not a leaf falls without His knowledge.
Elderly people like her have already lived through two winters of genocide in tents that flood, tear in the wind and do nothing against the cold. Last winter, storms washed away and ripped apart tents across the Strip, and the UN warned that the elderly and children would be the first to die from the cold. A year into the ceasefire, the Israeli occupation is still restricting shelter supplies into Gaza, and a woman who has watched this land for nearly eight decades is facing the season ahead with a new dome tent and her faith.

Good morning from Gaza… I’m Rafif! 🥹❤️🇵🇸
This morning, I picked up Daddy’s phone to tell you that we are still alive here in Gaza. 💔
Despite all the fear we live with every day, I still smile and dream of beautiful days when I can live without bombs or fear.
Sending my little heart full of love from Gaza to every corner of the world.
Please keep me and my family in your prayers. 🥹❤️
Israeli colonial terrorists strip olives from a Palestinian family’s trees right in front of their home, under the full protection of the Israeli occupation army, as the family looks on and soldiers stand guard. Olive theft has become a daily routine of this harvest season across the occupied West Bank. On Sunday alone, colonists stole olives from the eastern plain of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, a day after raiding the same village, breaking trees and taking the crop. In nearby Ein Yabrud, they seized a village council vehicle along with bags of freshly picked olives and the farmers’ tools.
The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission recorded 18 colonial attacks across nine governorates between Saturday morning and Sunday, from beating and pepper-spraying olive pickers to detaining farmers and driving families off their own land. For Palestinian families, the olive harvest is a year’s income and a tie to land passed down for generations, and the Israeli occupation is taking both in plain sight.

This might be our last picture…💔🇵🇸
If we die, remember that we were not just numbers mentioned in the news.
We were souls with dreams, hearts with hopes, and stories that were left unfinished.
Don’t forget us in your prayers, and keep speaking about us, because behind every name there is a whole life that dreamed of living in peace.
‼️ We identified this Israeli war criminal — Ronen Kazaila, commanding officer in the Border Police, documented committing crimes against humanity in Qusra and Beit Ummar in the West Bank.
MAKE HIM FAMOUS.
Rest in peace. Mohammad Tammous chose this path knowing where it might lead, and he spoke of martyrdom as something he was ready for. For three years of genocide, the civil defence volunteer ran toward every bombing site in northern Gaza and pulled the wounded and the dead from beneath the rubble. Early Wednesday morning, he was doing the same thing when an Israeli occupation airstrike targeted him as he headed to evacuate wounded Palestinians near the northern gate of the destroyed Kamal Adwan Hospital, while Israeli occupation drones dropped sound bombs over the area. He was carried to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, where he died of his wounds on the night of October 7, a year into a ceasefire that never protected the people he spent his life saving.
Today, on October 5th, The Sameer Project team were surrounded with bullets while distributing water in Eastern Salah El Deen. As you can see, men were crawling to avoid the shots coming from the military occupation.
Gaza needs support: https://t.co/uFKKDqN8Aw
Palestinians are targeted every single day by the military occupation. The genocide never ended, and not a day passes by without martyrs and injuries.
The areas we cover as The Sameer Project are near the yellow line like Eastern Salah El Deen. The reason we go there is because people residing in those places barely get any aid, if any. They have nowhere else to go and they need support.
We also just got reports from Al Shujaiyyah intersection and Montazah Camp of hundreds of families, including women and children, are being shot at by the military occupation. Escalations are happening across the Gaza Strip in the last couple of days.

Until this very moment, we cannot even move around or go outside safely… 💔
Since early this morning, the gunfire has not stopped.
Central Khan Younis has been under intense and terrifying gunfire.💔💔
We don’t know what might happen in the next moment.
All we pray for now is to make it through these hours safely and stay alive. 🥹🙏🙏
Please, don’t stop praying for us…
We need your prayers now more than ever. 🤲😭💔🙏
We woke up this morning to terrifying moments… 💔
We didn’t know what was happening or what the next moment might bring.
The intense gunfire continued nonstop for nearly three hours, and every minute that passed felt as though it could be our last.
Here, no one knows what their fate will be or what might happen to them in the next moment…
And if one day we are no longer able to tell you that we are still alive, please don’t forget our faces.
Remember us well. Remember that we were here, simply trying to survive and protect our families. 💔
Alhamdulillah, we are still alive at this moment. 🥹🙏
Please, don’t stop talking about Gaza. 🇵🇸
Don’t forget us… and don’t leave us alone in silence 🙏
