@yuanyi_z It is so interesting that we have so many past exams (of all formats) and so few papers. I think we probably overestimate achievement across the board
@Jamie154182@Martin95684074@trevgoes4th It’s obviously not about their understanding of probability, changing the numbers makes that obvious. £100k vs coin flip on £2 million? £250k vs £3million? £1m vs flip got £100m? Conversely, 20p vs flip for £100 and every single person flips.

@leisetritt@IonaItalia The argument I have heard against this is that most people would not have wasted candles in the night - perhaps well off ones might. So most people wouldn’t have got up.
@clim8resistance@asda There’s an ‘abandoned trolleys’ app you can use to report, all the supermarkets pay into it apparently. I don’t know if that’s true, but I reported one dumped on my road and it was gone two days later. It’s called trolleywise
