@aonanuga1956 BUT he has worsened the economy since he took over. Where is the Lagos magic on Nigeria? Are we not paying more subsidy today than before he took over? He accused others of being beer parlour economists during the campaign but what do we call his? Agbadonomics???
Is anyone in experiencing bills payment through Gtbank mobile app? I made a DSTV subscription payment over 24 hours ago and all I get from them is pre-recorded messages without resolving the issues. Payment isn't with DSTV and GTbank is keeping me in limbo. @gtbank@gtbank_help
Where is the N75bn loan to 75 industries for which each was supposed to get N1bn each to re-capitalize their businesses?
What about the N500 bn for 100,000 SMEs? What is the statuses of these interventions? Which agency is handling them? How can Nigerians apply? @TunjiLardner
My mind on the religious side of Nigeria today; with the millions of religious adherents we have in Nigeria today both in the Christian and Islamic faiths, what is the effect of this on our nation? It is a discussion we must have and now too!
@TunjiLardner@AishaYesufu@LekeAlder
@SamuelSmiths2@abati1990 I will rather work with facts. What are Peter Obi's real votes in Kano, Kaduna, Katsina, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, Zamfara, Niger, Yobe, Borno, Bauchi and Gombe? These are high voting population that determines the overall votes. He performed poorly in most of these states!
@General_Oluchi @191Introvert Did LP do well in the North? Absolutely not. In Zamfara, Kebbi, Kano, Sokoto, Bauchi, Jigawa, Yobe, Borno, Taraba, Adamawa and Niger - these are the highest voting populations in Nigeria - how many votes did LP get? Actually very low. You can't win without these. Let's chill!
@General_Oluchi @191Introvert The 2023 elections showed something clearly; the 3 main candidates represented our ethnic fault-lines. Obi fromt the East and so he got the highest votes from there; Atiku from the North and so he won many states there and Tinubu cleared most of the West except Lagos.
@General_Oluchi @191Introvert The petitioners insists that they were irregularities in many parts of the country. Were there irregularities in the East where LP won massively? Obviously, they were blind to that. Could they prove that anywhere they won, the election was pitch perfect? I doubt. 2/3
@General_Oluchi @191Introvert I watched the show this morning too; I am neither in support of APC, PDP, LP or any party for that matter. I took time to listen to the judgment on Wednesday and I found something curious; the petitioners didn't show enough evidence to show that APC didn't win the elections. 1/3
Should we not have some faith in our judicial process? Are we saying everything in that judgement is wrong and that the Judges were compromised. Can the lawyers of the petitioners say they did a diligent job to justify a different outcome? Courts don't pander to public opinions.
So much reactions are trailing the judgement of the PEPC yesterday where the petitions of APM, PDP and LP were all dismissed for lacking merit. The truth is this: a lot of Nigerians already lost faith in the judiciary before the judgement. 1/2 @TunjiLardner@segalink@ShehuSani
Dr Kayode Fayemi said the subsidy removal protest against President Jonathan's govt in 2012 was political and that the ACN which supported the protest was merely playing politics! So the economy of Nigeria was sacrificed for 11 years on the altar of politics!? @TunjiLardner
@EngrKizzy@segalink Why are we so paranoid in this country? Do we really think because Obi won in Lagos and some parts of the country, then he is the winner? How many votes did he get in Kano, Kaduna, Gombe, Katsina, Yobe, Kebbi, Borno, Bauchi and Sokoto? The bulk of votes are in these states.
@tnicemario@segalink He is a disgrace because your candidate isn't pronounced winner? Wait first! (Excuse my Nigerian coloqualism); Do you really think that Obi won in Sokoto, Kano, Katsina, Jigawa, Kaduna, Gombe, Bauchi, Yobe, Kebbi, and Borno. The bulk of votes which wins the presidency is here!
Issues of media infractions are not under the purview of State Governments but the regulatory bodies of NBC and BOS. There are also the law courts for seeking redress in the case of libel. The issue in question is already in court! @TunjiLardner 2/2
Gov. Fubara of Rivers State should not tow the line of leaders who use extra-judicial measures in meting out supposed judgement against the rule of law; the demolition of the building, mast and transmitter of RayPower FM and AIT Port Harcourt is against the law. @TunjiLardner 1/2
