Merci à tous pour cette belle participation à la 21e marche commémorative «Adjudant-Major Richard ». L’occasion de nous souvenir de nos frères d’armes partis prématurément depuis 2003.

It’s a kick-off for the Top Tactics tournament organised by MCU. We use Company Commander Taoyuan Airport scenario (Taiwan)! Let’s fight!

[Chef de Corps du 1/3 Bataillon de Lanciers @CO_13Lanciers]

Truly honored to follow in the footsteps of a great leader. Excited to lead our Cavalry Battalion forward—ready, lethal, and prepared for the challenges ahead.

Let’s wargame again!

[Sebastian Bae @SebastianBae]

I need some PLAYTESTERS for some micro games! The micro games are designed by a range of designers from the US to AUS, exploring various topics from logistics to kill chains. #wargaming

@EM_DAlessandro If you need help, we have a expert at the Belgian Defence College. He teaches C2/CIS and Cyber! And more importantly he loves wargames!

That sounds right!

BREAKING: MIT just completed the first brain scan study of ChatGPT users & the results are terrifying.

Turns out, AI isn't making us more productive. It's making us cognitively bankrupt.

Here's what 4 months of data revealed:

"Participants were divided into three groups, each competing in one of the professional wargaming systems: Company Commander Modern, Flashpoint Campaigns, and Joint Tactics Arena. Despite fierce competition from US Marine Corps officers and commanders, our cadets demonstrated remarkable poise, tactical acumen, and determination."

"The Australian Platoon Commander wargame is a set of professional wargame rules originally developed for use at the Royal Military College – Duntroon in 2023 to support specific learning outcomes of the Full Time and Part Time Officer Commissioning Program."

"But how many uniformed wargamers does DoD need? As a minimum, every combat arms Lieutenant Colonel and unrestricted line officer Commander should be a wargamer. Every officer with an Operations Research designation should be a wargamer. Every military strategist should be a wargamer. Every flag officer should be a wargamer."

Today's agenda 29 May 2025 for Wargaming Week 2025

Today focuses mostly on advancing the King's developed wargame for NATO called 'Horizon' and debating academic aspects of #wargaming and the future.

[Chair of Land Operations, BEL Defence College @LandOpsBelDef]

Great wargaming week at King's College (London). High level discussions about current and future trends in professional wargaming. As usual, we come back with a lot of ideas for potential implementation within the Belgian Defence. #Wargaming #PME
