Thrilled to share that the new Boardriders flagship store in Waikīkī Beach is now open — and my designs are on the shelves! 🌊 🌴
As part of the first licensing deal following the brands’ restructuring under Authentic Brands Group, I was brought on to design the debut capsule collection of T-shirts for these iconic surf labels (Quiksilver, Billabong, Roxy, Volcom, and RVCA) in Hawaiʻi.
This launch collection reintroduces the brands to Waikīkī with graphics that thoughtfully blend legacy logos, local surf culture, and a modern visual language — created for today’s travelers and everyday surfers alike. The apparel serves as a storytelling platform, helping re-establish Waikīkī Beach as a contemporary global surf destination while honoring its deep heritage as the birthplace of modern surfing.
The 7,000+ sq ft flagship sits steps from the Duke Kahanamoku statue (in the Pualeilani Atrium Shops at the Hyatt Regency), and it’s already buzzing with that authentic island energy. Huge thanks to the teams at BR Japan and Authentic for the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful relaunch.
If you’re in Oahu, swing by and check out the collection in person — or tag a fellow surfer who needs to see this comeback!
Aloha and stoked to be part of bringing these brands back home. 🤙
"It's gotten to a breaking point... Every night the Thunder play, the next morning the number one storyline is either Wembanyama or the FLOPPING Thunder."
@jasonrmcintyre thinks the NBA needs to step in to prevent more foul baiting from SGA & the Thunder
@Crusafikshun@HaterReport Also, why is the ref, from behind calling this foul 😂?
He can't see anything, except Shai twisting in mid-air towards the defender, trying desperately to draw a foul.
@HaterReport NOT A NATURAL SHOOTING MOTION:
Shai literally twisted his body toward the defender, and held the ball in the air waiting to even shoot, trying to draw contact, and lastly putting his twisted legs towards the defender way out beyond a normal landing path from a jump shot.
@Sosavelli@FirstTake@stephenasmith No. Spurs played with a ferocious defense. And it took 2OT’s to finally break the Thunder.
They played “terrible” because they were beaten defensively and not given easy looks or the ability to draw ticky-tack fouls.
