Detectives in Bradford are investigating following a large-scale incident of affray at a garage off Leeds Road.

Police were called at 7.18pm on Saturday (24 January) to Gledhill Road to a report that multiple people armed with weapons had assaulted three men within the premises.

The three men were taken to hospital.

From enquiries so far, it is understood that 17 people were involved and arrived and left in three vehicles, including a black Nissan Nivara.

Three arrests have been made – two 24-year-old men and a 50-year-old man, all from Bradford. The two 24-year-olds remain in custody while the 50-year-old man has been interviewed and released on conditional bail.

Detective Inspector Andrew Queen, of Bradford CID, said: “This appears to have been a targeted, pre-planned attack with those involved turning up at the premises armed with bats and metal bars.

“Thankfully, while one of the victims continues to receive hospital treatment, all three are expected to make a full recovery. This incident was understandably very concerning for those involved though, and we are conducting extensive enquiries to identify those responsible.” https://t.co/HKvA5UTZkS
