Remember the Golders Green terror attack? Well, we want you to forget about it now because the police have announced it wasn’t terrorism after all. This revelation has completely ruined our narrative, so we don’t care about it anymore. All you need to know is that two Jewish men were brutally stabbed and we’re still treating that third Muslim victim like he doesn’t exist.

At the time, we wouldn’t shut up about two of the three stabbings because they provided the perfect propaganda opportunity. We gave them far more coverage than similar attacks, such as the stabbing of five Muslims in Edinburgh. Our narrative was simple: this was an antisemitic terror attack carried out by Iran.

Yes, we had no evidence of an Iran connection, and yes, the available evidence contradicted our reporting, but that wasn’t a problem. We simply ignored the suspect’s history of mental health issues, violent behaviour, and time spent in a secure hospital. The last thing we wanted you to know was that he’d previously stabbed a police officer and his dog—and neither were Jewish.

Everything seemed to be falling into place. The national threat level was raised to severe and Starmer had all the excuse he needed to let the Americans to launch attacks from RAF Fairford. The stabbings were real, but they conveniently came during a wave of false flags across Europe. This provided the perfect opportunity for HAYI to claim responsibility.

Remember HAYI? The Iranian terror group with no history, an AI-generated logo, a brand new website filled with basic typos, and literature written in Arabic rather than Farsi? Well, you’re gonna need to sit down for this one, but HAYI started life as a Mossad-run Telegram channel. There was no way we could’ve known this, unless we’d spent five minutes on the internet and looked at the available evidence.

Obviously, this is the first time in history we’ve jumped the gun during a major incident and pushed a narrative hard, instead of just informing you. What do you mean, we did the exact same thing with “diesel thieves” just a couple of days ago? You weren’t supposed to start noticing that yet.

Congratulations to everyone celebrating the end of the triple lock.
You won nothing.
You will be pensioners one day. Many of you will be renting in retirement. Your private pension won't touch what today's pensioners have.
Cutting the triple lock doesn't hurt today's pensioners much. It hits you. Compounding, year after year, until you retire into a system even more inadequate than the one we have now.
As Sam Coates explains here, you just cheered for your own poorer retirement.

Can't believe the number of genuine Left people who bought the nonsense about ending the triple lock. They agreed with Blair and the Telegraph, let the billionaires and mega corps off paying fair tax. More damagingly they smashed future generation of pensioners who will have inadequate private pensions and will likely to be renting when they're retired.
When the Right wing do divide and conquer politics, this time on age, you don't join in, you resist. Solidarity with majority, direct your anger at the real targets, the billionaire and the rip off mega companies.

Burnham's speech, stripped of the delivery:
- The big items, a National Care Service, pension reform, electoral reform, all arrive after the next election. Vote first, delivery later.
- Every headline survives 30 seconds. None survive the small print. "Taking control of water" is a power to take control later, if a company fails. The care service "protects people's homes and their savings", except his aides say it won't cover care home costs.
- Palestine got one line. The climate crisis got four words, attached to a North Sea line. AI got a G20 summit and not a word on jobs.
