I love this city too much to accept where we are today.

Chicagoans deserve safer streets, a reliable CTA, stable property taxes and schools that prepare our kids for success.

Maybe the people obsessed with “equity” while ignoring merit… are the ones holding people back.

Maybe the people calling everyone else a threat to democracy… are the ones trying to rig it.

Maybe the people who fight for the working class from a private jet… are fighting for something else.

Maybe the people who say they care about the poor… have run every major American city for 50 years and made them ALL worse.

Maybe the people calling for more gun control… travel with armed security paid for by taxpayers.

Maybe the people who demand unity while calling half the country fascists… don’t want unity, but surrender

Maybe it was never about justice, or equity, or tolerance, or democracy.

Maybe was always about power.

And maybe you can tell, because they never stop accusing YOU of exactly what THEY are doing.

Illinois just budgeted $4.4 million for migrant daycare.

A dedicated line item right in the 639-page budget @JBPritzker signed.

The state has already burned through over $2.5 billion on our sanctuary status. Healthcare, housing, food, and now daycare.

Working families foot every bill.

We never voted for any of this.

With Fauci in the news, never forget how Pritzker shut down our economy, our workplaces and our schools for 3 straight years.

Pritzker loves to talk "democracy", but he used Executive Powers – 42 straight "emergency proclamations" – to run the state unilaterally.

His first executive order was in March 2020 and his last was on April 2023.

That alone should disqualify him from being a governor in this country, much less a candidate for President of America.

Florida AG announces arrest of Canadian citizen Giorgio Mucelli who illegally voted in 7 elections by falsely claiming to be a U.S. citizen

The arrest was possible because of a state partnership with the federal SAVE database.

Biden-appointed Judge Sparkle Sooknanan, who was born in Trinidad and Tobago, is trying to BLOCK states from accessing the database and stop non-citizens from voting.

WILMETTE PUBLC COMMENT: This resident spoke last night during the Wilmette (Illinois) Village Board of Trustees meeting. He wants to cut down an old tree on his property that is causing damage to his sidewalk from the roots. It is a nuisance and a danger.

The village now calls old trees “heritage trees” not in an effort to preserved trees but to charge new permit fees. The permit fee use to be $75 and quite often people don’t get permits. Most people only remove trees that are a hazard or might be in the way of a new construction of home addition.

This resident was charge a $5000 permit tree to cut down a dying tree that was a nuisance and potential danger.

The village has taken this as a CASH GRAB opportunity with mention of the direction of the new revenue source to section 8 & subsidized housing for connected developers. The village is also considering increasing demolition fees from $4500 to $20,000. I’m not sure but maybe there should be NO fees to improve your property.

This resident who complained about the tree permit fees might had been a senior. So now the village trustees are talking about “affordable housing” for seniors yet they are increasing permit fees not to mention property tax increases for seniors, THIS IS NOT AFFORDABLE HOUSING.

You can’t make this stuff up.

That’s a 12.48% decrease in students while staff increased 26.41%.

This is an abuse of taxpayers. No other organization operates this way. The school system is not a jobs program for adults.

These people are ridiculous.
They have lost all tethers to a sense of self. Their entire identity now relies on this treasonous hate of America. They make up fantasies of how horrible America never was to justify their need to "fight tyranny." They have no identity but this. And they cling to it with a death grip, because they have nothing else.
None of it is true. Not the fantasy about America about which she is shrieking, not her identity of believing herself to be some "hero" in a movie about an oppressive government, and not the resulting congress-free, senate-free, President-free, childish (and completely chaotic) future she sees for this country.
She is an infant.
She and others like her will not get their way. Not even close. If you have a modicum of common sense, it's time to let your line in the sand about tolerance be made known.
Myself, I have a limit to tolerance.
I have a limit to patience.
I know there is a limit to free speech.

A Canadian who lived their “universal healthcare” system for 32 years just gave Americans the reality check everyone pushing “Medicare for All” needs to hear.

She didn’t rant. She showed the receipts:

• Nearly 200,000 emergency patients waited 48+ hours for a hospital bed last year alone.
• Almost 1 million Canadians now leave the ER without care because the wait is too long (up fivefold in some reports).
• ER doctors warn these delays are lethal.
• 5.9 million adults still have no regular family doctor.
• Specialist waitlists are exploding — median 28.6 weeks from GP referral to treatment. Some doctors are closing practices to new patients.
• Only 2.5 hospital beds per 1,000 people — well below the OECD average. Hallway medicine is routine. Patients die on stretchers.

Her line hits hard:

“We want universal healthcare… until we learn.”

She’s not wrong. Canada’s single-payer model gives coverage on paper but delivers rationing by queue in practice. Long waits aren’t a bug — they’re the feature when government controls supply and prices.

America’s system is also broken: crushing costs, administrative bloat, and real gaps for the uninsured or underinsured. We spend nearly twice as much per person and still have problems.

The solution isn’t importing Canada’s waiting rooms. It’s fixing supply (train more doctors/nurses, cut red tape), adding real competition and price transparency, expanding HSAs/direct primary care, and protecting innovation.

Be informed before you trade one set of problems for another.

I think it’s telling that when the Supreme Court knew the Dobbs decision would anger the Left, they erected gates the night before. Being at the Court that day was insane with the police security.

I get why so many people are frustrated or skeptical about this Iran MOU. On paper, it looks like a massive compromise: $300 billion in unfrozen assets, a fixed schedule to lift sanctions, and immediate oil export waivers for Tehran. But what were we expecting when on one side, Trump is facing an apocalyptic regime that wants the world to burn and on the other, an American public that has no stomach for war? He played the cards that were actually on the table.

I’m sick and tired of the politicians and podcasters who bitch and complain no matter what Trump does. They scream that the war has to stop, but the second he stops it, they turn around and yell, "what kind of deal is this?!" If the goal is to actually end Iran’s regime, history shows there's only one model that works: total WWII-style defeat, occupation, and denazification. That requires American boots on the ground and an Iranian people ready to build a free country from the rubble. But NO ONE, myself included, wants boots on the ground.

Is this MOU what Trump wanted? I doubt it. But he did exactly what a leader of a Republic should do: he listened to the people and found a way to end this. A dictator would have kept on going. At the end of the day, a president can only go as far as the people will carry him. Right now, our appetite for war stops at the gas pump.
