@PhysInHistory Most researchers works on very tiny questions that it doesn't need to question the presence of god when they work. So, being a scientist and a believer is very compatible from that perspective.

@ehlJAMA My question is what benefits are for patients if AMA looses the monopoly of CPT? Could be that practices or insurances takes advantage of the CPT code to do overcharges? Could be that Patients doesn't have access to the CPT code and cannot easily complaint about a surcharge?

@tsantacoloma No es a propósito, ya aprendimos con el anterior que ese puesto lo tienen para que enchufen computadoras y configuren internet en las pcs en el sector público y los empleados puedan subir documentos haciendo drag and drop.

@dr_kuato Como el anterior, va a estar ahí para enchufar computadoras en la admin pública y que los empleados puedan hacer drag and drop de archivos para subir documentos administrativos y luego decir "estamos transformando el país con innovación científica". Ojalá me equivoque.

@JuanPDAmato @Fedocles Uno de los cambios del sistema cientifico es por acá. El Conicet debe dejar de ser el monopolio de la investigación. Devolver ese rol a las Universidades con la independencia de llamar a becas cuando tengan ganas.

@BrianRoemmele Definitely a breakthrough technology. I would be careful with the word "accessible" in the US. Too many middlemen and few players. A standard MRI can cost 2000usd and hospitals and medical centers don't want to disclose prices.

@fededomin Hay q transformar el Conicet pero está mal tu propuesta. Defensa, energía, salud deberían tener sus presupuestos para destinar a I+d como propones. Conicet debería dejar de monopolizar los investigadores e investigación.

@ezeferrero No lo veo así y X no da para un debate profundo. Ya partimos por una ciencia que está Monopolizada por una institución (Conicet). Eso no es menor. Hay que dar autonomía a los centros de investigación, sus propios investigadores, normas y que compitan por fondos.
