Stock markets at record highs, low unemployment, wage growth exceeds inflation, the best handling of inflation of any G7 nation, energy independence, and I can go on and on and on...But no matter how this result lands, whether VP Harris ekes this out or not, it is amazing how unappreciated successful governance was in this election and how Americans are so willing to bring back into office the guy who caused all the destruction.
When I say that the 00's was the hardest decade to score in, I'm just going by the actual numbers. For you to disagree, you're going to have to come up with a reason for why you think that the numbers contradict the reality. For example, you might say that it was more physical but then you'd have to explain why that physicality didn't have a negative effect on the actual numbers. The actual numbers:
The 80's from the 80-81 season to the 89-90 season:
Points per game - 109.1
Pace - 101.1
ORtg - 107.2
The 90's from the 90-91 season to the 99-00 season minus the lockout:
Points per game - 101
Pace - 93.8
ORtg - 106.9
The 00's from the 00-01 to the 09-10 season:
Points per game - 97.2
Pace - 91.3
ORtg - 105.6
The 10's from the 10-11 season to the 19-20 season:
Points per game - 103.2
Pace - 95.3
ORtg - 107.5
Notice 'ORtg' above. It's the amount of points scored per 100 possessions. If you divide it by 100 you will get the amount of points scored per possession. More points per possession were scored in the 80's and 90's than were in the 00's. That could point to the average 80's/90's player being more offensively talented than the average 00's player, the defense in the 80's and 90's not being as good, or a combination of both. I don't believe it's that the 80's and 90's players were more offensively talented on average, so that only leaves one conclusion...
Xavier Tillman clearly fouled Rui Hachimura on that attempt at the end of regulation. Contact on the arm and head. If the refs make the right call Lakers probably win in regulation of game 4. TNT refused to show this footage and media is burying it. #LakersGrizzlies#NBAPlayoffs
BREAKING: Jon Stewart just completely destroyed Republican State Senator Nathan Dahm of Oklahoma on gun reform in America. Each and every point that Dahm tried to address was completely debunked by Stewart. Stewart made Dahm look as foolish as he and his republican colleagues really are.
My favorite quote was: “In every other place your life you want to bring order, but guns are the outlier for you.”
Let all your republican friends see this video! https://t.co/qOlU187LHx
The ref just called a kickball on the hand of Pat Beverley.
This play will weigh heavily on the NBA and cause sleepless nights as they strive to be the best referees they can be.
-Giannis just finished a full game with 7 pts.
-Steph had 3 points in March vs the Celtics.
-KD had 8 pts vs the Heat in 2021.
People don't realize how crazy it is the LeBron hasn't had a single digit scoring game in almost 14 yrs...
