DEAL Consortium and Elsevier Announce Transformative Open Access Agreement for Germany.
The five-year agreement, set to run until the end of 2028, is designed to make a large part of German research openly accessible worldwide. https://t.co/jkYuLBYD79
@mauritiantales Many instituions/libraries provide OA funding for "their" authors (like the @UniFAU does, see https://t.co/jGvjwdLHkF). Have you checked with the home affiliation of the CA? #ThisShouldBeEasier
@HerboldSteffen @Inventitech@tudelft@SpringerNature@deal_projekt No, within the DEAL agreement, the number of articles is not limited and the publisher is paid the PAR fee per eligible article (until some defined thresholds, if applicable)
The DEAL Operations website for @deal_projekt has launched - a new resource for librarians, researchers and administrators, to help them take full advantage of the #openaccess publishing and expanded reading access made possible by the DEAL agreements.

@bellabotticella @grell_alina @deal_projekt@EllenEuler @FHPotsdam Ja, sehr schön - vielen Dank!
@palankarr @JessenLab @BoekhovenLab@deal_projekt@NeuroSchnell Just to avoid misleading expectations and attributions: @deal_projekt settles gold APCs with the institution of the corresponding author. If you do not receive a request for a refund, please send your thank to TU Munich.
@jeroenbosman@deal_projekt The validated article count from the true-up after year 1 (= baseline count) will be used as baseline for year 2 and year 3. So there is a kind of "minimum order quantity" for the subsequent years.
