New article on The Conversation UK with @FernandGobet
Are rich people more intelligent? Here's what the science says https://t.co/ayMqjo8XAP via @ConversationUK
@e_vanags@FernandGobet Technical details aside, the main problems are the absence of a valid mechanism explaining the observed small music effect (which stems from less restrictive inclusion criteria), and the low average quality of the experimental studies (very few large RCTs).

@wdonald_1985 I am a big fan of location scale and shape models! Used them myself with Generalized Additive Modelling. Would you like to share your presentation, if it's not too much of a bother?
@wdonald_1985 I underwent the same procedure a few years ago. Three teeth removed. Had to take a pain killer only the first day (the doc had prescribed me one week worth of pain killer drugs!). Not a bad deal! I wish you the same! ;)
@JoeHilgard Been there many times. Even when I am a reviewer (and I put it as a necessary requirement) authors often refuse to share the data. Journals should implement a mandatory open-data policy. And editors should be more responsive.
