The annual Sikh Remembrance Day ceremony is approaching.
This is an annual opportunity to celebrate the diversity of sacrifices made for Canada and the Commonwealth and celebrate the diversity of armed military and police services, past and present.

@jasdeepsinghrh Positive stories are never going to make it out. Through working in the mental health field, I have seen multiple times officers prevent self harm and brining them to help they need . Wrong conduct needs to be addressed, but shouldn’t undermine the work they do daily. 🙏
As a student, worker or what so ever your goals is to come to Canada work hard and ,make your family proud and make better future for your https://t.co/rHzP268wMd one ever imagines that their child or loved once will come back home like this. RIP 🙏
Private Mark Graham was an Olympic runner and a model soldier.
His life was sadly cut short in September 2006 in a friendly fire incident in Afghanistan.
We remember him.

Another successful partnership with Bali from Chalo @sobeys on our @PeelPolice toys for tots drive.
In the end we were able to gather and donate close to 800 toys.
We also collected a large amount of clothes and hygiene products for a local holiday drive.

Be thankful if a friend or family member asks how you’re feeling. This pandemic has affected us all in so many ways, including our mental health. It’s not always apparent, and it never hurts to ask. #WorldMentalHealthDay

Today we honored our fallen brother Deputy Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal, with a ceremony at @HCSO_Academy where his family presented us with his Sikh turban.
In 2015, Deputy Dhaliwal was approved to wear his Sikh religion turban and beard while on duty. #hounews

Today @TPS53Div attended to a Person in Crisis, a man hanging out an 8th floor window, being held by onsite Security. Officers took over & held him for 12 minutes, rescuing him by breaking windows & pulling him to safety. The man was taken to hospital to get the help he needs.1/2
