Minister @rechievaldez, you're mistaken. This is not something Canada can recruit our way out of.
@Ontariosdoctors are facing financial strain, worsened by proposed tax changes. This could threaten physician practices and patient access.
@davidcarr333@neilh_ As a FFS community MD; I have seen some masters of this.
They have excellent departmental awareness; take the best histories and are communication experts.
We often criticize ED physicians who go too fast. We worry about the harm they may cause to their patients. The unpopular take is to criticize those who go way too slow. We often fail to worry about the patients they don’t see. The waiting TBS. I worry a lot about them.
Honestly, we would probably be a lot better off if we just let ALL patients eat in the emergency department. That's a topic for another time, but one thing we know: you don't need to be NPO for a safe procedural sedation #FOAMed

@davidcarr333@KashPrime I don't think there is much to update.
Most of the data is still unpublished. Has been seen by a few, who tell us it is negative.
And the data that the company hand picked to release shows no change in any objective outcomes
Its a hard no from me

@alandrummond2 Say it louder for all the leaders in the back, middle or front.
Non-urgent patients are not the driver of long wait times in the ER.
It’s a lack of staffed inpatient beds that cause boarding of patients in the ER for hours to days. @CAEP_Docs@raghu_venugopal@flindall_steve
