@rocklambros I'd argue that shorter cycles are, perhaps, a pie-in-the-sky, desire. Vetting code changes, whether in -house, or third-party libraries, take time and even longer to audit. Consider focusing on logging and monitoring to catch the now, and dev/test for permanent fixes.
I refuse to let Project 2025 or its supporters destroy my country. For those who feel I am stoking FUD I invite you to read Project 2025 and compare it to Mein Kampf.
But I don't know what I can do. What avenues are available to me to help those that Project 2025 is coming after?
Out of my many decades of life, today is the saddest one. Americua voted to throw away our democracy, equality, and justice and elected a fascist who will work to make us an authoritarian state. I'm so disappointed in the US, I'm not sure how to react.
@AmericaMission_ I call BS. Have you looked at the source code? I have. Have you looked at the hardware? I have. Have you audited the machines as an election judge? I have. There are no defaults and no code to change it after the voter chooses.
For you undecided voters and anyone else, consider this: This election isn't about politics, wars, prices, ... It's about whether you want an authoritarian neo-nazi who will punish his enemies and eliminate the rights of people not like him. Period. The choice is yours.
@robertgraham The presidential race is very simple this year. Do we elect a neo-nazi who wants to become a dictator and has the full support of one of our political parties or not?
It's not about politics, border policy, inflation, ... but do we want to become the new nazi nation?

@XfinitySupport - Trying to track my internet data usage and https://t.co/FJZA6QezRZ isn't working and your [censored] 'Ask Xfinity' won't connect me to a human to say that.
@NewsHour Disclaimer: what Hamas did was inexcusable and reprehensible in every way.
However, in the interest of fair reporting, shouldn't the Palestinian hostages be interviewed just like the Israeli hostages?
Both sides have taken hostages. Hamas was just more obvious.

@stautistic In a perfect world, yes. Problem is, and I speak with lots of experience here, there is lots of "Why was it done this way?" and after days of effort, finding out why. The other is the business *never* wants to pay for a rewrite, it's always "just add this new functionality"
