I grew up in Chennai and living in Bengaluru for 3 decades. Bengaluru has several urban infra issues to tackle but no company is shifting to Chennai. Chennai is way behind and have to do lots to catch up, starting with a world class airport which directly connects the world.

One runway can maximum can handle around 50 - 55 MPPA at the max!! We need two parallel runways airport that can be operated simultaneously!!
