Last Thursdays election was deeply unfair... but don't just take our word for it.
Here are top political scientist Sir John Curtice's thoughts.
"We should not be surprised that some are arguing for a rethink."
@CaroIynD @AlinaOktaria @thhamilton Admittedly the cabinet before last was for the prime minister who was in office for 45 days, but I expect the cabinet before that was similarly privately educated if not more so.
@CaroIynD @AlinaOktaria @thhamilton What Carolyn said. It's the exception everywhere but in government. In our new government the majority of the Cabinet were educated in comprehensive schools (free, no tests for entry) whereas fewer than 20% were educated at comprehensives for the last two Cabinets.
@lorrainemking To me it depends on how educated they are on their position. The soundbites of Britain's not working WORK because people feel frustrated, disenfranchised etc. If they have actually thought through the implications of their policies - it would never be the same again.
Whatโs the worst wrong turn youโve ever taken?
I wasnโt paying attention on my way back from a holiday in Cornwall and ended up going to Wales. I donโt live in Wales.
