The bottom line, use it for longer for higher value for money and sell it to Apple only if there are no other ways.

You can also gift it to a friend/family member, use it as a home automation hub, or keep it as a backup device.

The value for money factor comes based on how long you plan to use the device. The brand value & popularity of iPhones, at least in India, IMO, is at an all-time high. New iPhone's price includes the 40K+ duties and taxes for every iPhone purchase. (which is immediate lost value)

Here are the major updates you should know about:

- Expands the supported skew between node and control plane components from n-2 to n-3, simplifying annual upgrades for long-term workload operators. It allows for a once-a-year minor version upgrade while maintaining upstream support, although more frequent upgrades are still fully supported.

- Recovery from non-graceful node shutdown (GA) - allows for the cleanup and successful failover of stateful workloads to a different node following a non-graceful node shutdown or failure. This helps mitigate issues with workloads being stuck in a terminating status and ensures volume attachments are disassociated from the original node, allowing persistent volumes to attach to a functioning node.

- Improvements to CustomResourceDefinition (CRD) validation rules, utilizing the Common Expression Language (CEL) to allow for direct validation within the schema of a CRD. This removes the need for a webhook and introduces two optional fields, 'reason' and 'fieldPath', to specify the failure cause and fieldPath when validation fails.

- ValidatingAdmissionPolicies, which use the Common Expression Language for in-process validation of requests to the Kubernetes API server, have graduated to beta, enabling customizable policy enforcement and facilitating adherence to best practices.
