URGENT APPEAL TO THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, CENTRAL SECURITY FORCES, COBRA TEAM, AND THE GOVERNMENT OF MANIPUR
We urgently appeal to the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, Central Security Forces, and the COBRA Team to immediately restore free movement along the National Highway between Senapati District and Kangpokpi District.
The ongoing blockade, allegedly enforced by NSCN-IM, ZUF (Kamson Group), Shan National Army elements, and supported by the United Naga Council, has severely disrupted the transportation of essential commodities, including food grains, medicines, fuel, and other daily necessities.
As a result, the people of Kangpokpi District, including the Kuki community and other communities residing in the district, are facing immense hardship. Prices of essential goods have increased sharply, medical supplies are becoming scarce, and ordinary citizens are struggling to meet their daily needs. Women, children, the elderly, patients, students, and daily wage earners are bearing the heaviest burden of this prolonged blockade.
National Highways are public lifelines meant for all citizens and must not be obstructed under any circumstance. The continued disruption of the free movement of essential goods is creating a humanitarian concern that requires immediate attention from the authorities.
We therefore make an emergency request to the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, Central Security Forces, and the COBRA Team to take urgent and effective measures to ensure the safe movement of vehicles carrying food, medicines, fuel, and other essential commodities, and to restore normalcy on the National Highway without further delay.
The people of Kangpokpi District cannot continue to suffer under these conditions. Immediate intervention is necessary to protect the welfare, livelihood, and basic rights of all affected citizens.
Open the National Highway. Restore the movement of essential goods. End the hardship faced by innocent civilians.

This is the monstrosity that has been bred in Imphal. It has been three years and nothing has been done to counter it by the BJP state and central governments.
The misleading allegations being made against the #IndianArmy are false. The Army’s sole purpose is to ensure the #Security and #Peace of the nation. It performs its duties impartially and does #NotAttackAnyone.Spreading distrust against the #Army is inappropriate.@MeeteiTodayII

🆘️MEDICAL ETHICS EVAPORATE AT RIMS:
Director & Staff Unanimously agrees to stop further treatment of 3 Kuki civilians to appease lynching mob.
■The 3 kuki civilians were undergoing treatment for injuries sustained in an unprovoked attack carried out by the Konsakhul-based NSCN-IM yesterday (15.6.26.).
■Ironically, the decision of the RIMS Director & staff to stop further treatment for the kuki civilians came Minutes after the Social Media handle of RIMS posted, "The sole responsibility of RIMS is to provide medical care to all patients brought to the hospital. It is the professional, ethical, and humanitarian duty of doctors and healthcare workers to attend to and treat patients requiring medical attention, irrespective of their background or circumstances."
■Yesterday, a message "If we want to kill them while they're still alive, We need strength in numbers" was broadcasted by Manipur Naga Leaders to all the Meiteis & Manipur Nagas in Imphal to mobilize en masse at RIMS Hospital to kill all the Kuki Patients undergoing treatment at RIMS.
After which, thousands of Meiteis & Manipur Naga mobs stormed the premises of RIMS Hospital in an attempt to lynch the 3 Kuki civilians.
🚨It must be emphasized that RIMS was established as a joint venture by all Northeastern states, it is a National Institute under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Therefore, RIMS is not the exclusive property of any one community & it does not belong to any single community.
■It's also worth noting that:
The Union Minister, Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India @JPNadda is President of RIMS Board of Governors & the CM of Manipur @YKhemchandSingh its Vice President.
The Secretary, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of India is the Chairman of RIMS Executive council.
🚨But most importantly, If the safety of Kuki patients cannot be guaranteed at RIMS by either the Union Govt or the Manipur Govt & certain communities in Manipur object to Kuki patients receiving treatment at RIMS Imphal, it is imperative that the Government of India immediately establish a similar premier medical facility equivalent to RIMS or AIIMS in EVERY Kuki-dominated districts.

🌄 Here is what happened today June 15th 2026 at Leilon Munlui Village, Kangpokpi District.
At approximately 6:00 AM on 15 June 2026, NSCN-IM and ZUF-K cadres launched a coordinated armed attack on the villages of Leilon Munlui and Leilon Vaiphei in the Leimakhong Area of Kangpokpi District, Manipur.
During the attack, the assailants fired multiple Lathode bombs and other automatic weapons towards the villages, causing panic among residents and endangering civilian lives and property. The attack resulted in serious injuries to three village volunteers and civilians, namely:
1. Mr. Genlenmang Vaiphei, aged 15 years, student.
2. Mr. Paogoulal, aged 18 years, student.
3. Mr. Lunliandaw Vaiphei, aged 20 years, IDP.
The injured persons were subsequently evacuated to Imphal for medical treatment.
Eyewitness accounts and reports from the ground indicate that the attackers approached, launched the attack, and withdrew through the Konsakhul side, where personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), C/158 Battalion, were deployed. Despite the close proximity of the CRPF post to the area of attack and the movement of the armed cadres through the said route, no intervention was made to prevent, repel, or interdict the attack.
The incident has generated serious concern among the affected villages regarding the adequacy of security arrangements and the apparent failure of the deployed security personnel to prevent the attack or provide timely protection to the civilian population.
The attack constitutes a grave escalation of the prevailing security situation in the Leimakhong Area and has further heightened fear and insecurity among the residents of Leilon Munlui, Leilon Vaiphei, and neighbouring villages.

I strongly condemn the brutal killing of a delegation of Kuki church leaders in Manipur. Such barbaric violence against innocent lives is unacceptable & has no place in any civilised society. Condolences to the bereaved families & the church community during this time of grief.
Manipur is spiraling again.
Reports indicate 18 Naga civilians have been abducted by Kuki groups, while 23 Kuki civilians have been taken by Naga groups across multiple villages since last night. This isn’t just tension anymore, it’s a dangerous cycle of retaliation, driven by ego battles among CSOs, with ordinary civilians paying the price.
And for those international and national media who tried to frame Manipur as “Hindus led violence “ or “Christian-led violence” , both Nagas and Kukis involved here are Christians. This conflict has always been ethnic at its core, rooted in deep tribal divides that continue to fuel mistrust and violence.

Three church leaders from the Thadou Baptist Association Church were assassinated and three others injured in an ambush while returning from an event in India's Manipur State on May 13. The attack has triggered protests and shutdowns across the state. The incident adds to the ongoing ethnic violence that has plagued the region since May 2023, between the dominant majority Hindu Meitei community and the mainly Christian Kuki tribes.
Clashes between the Meitei and Kuki communities in Manipur have resulted in over 260 deaths and the displacement of more than 60,000 people since May 2023. The conflict erupted over issues including job reservations, land rights, and political representation
Residents of Thadou Kuki Village staged a peaceful sit-in protest demanding the immediate and safe release of villagers allegedly abducted in broad daylight despite the presence of state and central security forces.
The protest comes amid escalating tensions in Manipur following a deadly militant ambush in Kangpokpi district on May 13, where at least three people were killed and several others injured after armed assailants attacked two vehicles carrying church leaders between Kotzim and Kotlen villages in Kangpokpi district.

Three Thadou Church leaders were killed by Tangkhul naga led NSCN(IM) militants.
Same NSCN(IM) who shout “ Nagaland for Christ” , Tangkhul militant leaders are giving order to Kill Pastors / Church leaders now .
No ideology just extortion, power grabbing and violence this is true ideology. Nagas of Nagaland have kicked militants out it’s for Manipur to decide their fate behind such evils.

India: Three Baptist pastors were ambushed and assassinated yesterday in Manipur by unknown assailants.
Rev. Vumthang Sitlhou, Rev. Kaigoulun Lhouvum and Pastor Paogoulen Sitlhou were returning home after a Baptist assembly on May 12 when the evil unfolded.
Five other religious workers were also injured.
The Christian Emergency Alliance condemns this atrocious crime – those responsible must be brought to justice.
Pray that the injured would be healed and the families of the deceased comforted by the Spirit.
May our loving Father draw goodness out of this dark act.
Pray for the Christians of Manipur.
Deeply disturbed and anguished by the attack on TBA Church leaders in Kangpokpi District, Manipur. Such acts of unprovoked violence and brutality against leaders who work to foster peace, unity, and brotherhood are unacceptable and must be strongly condemned. I urge the authorities in Manipur to take immediate and strict action against those responsible.
Why no combing operations conducted so far against ZUF Kamson who openly claims responsibility for torching down Kuki-Zo houses in K Songlung village? Also, are not security forces supposed to protect vulnerable areas such as K Songlung considering the ZUF Kamson group’s repeated hate campaigns and threats against Kuki-Zo people recently. @Spearcorps
