Jack Dorsey says AI must be permissionless because constraint kills innovation.
Five CEOs shouldn't dictate what brings humanity forward.
Open source is the answer.
To protect ourselves, we have to race ahead. Eliminating single points of failure before they become civilization's choke points.
@MarcNixon24 Hmm… I voted conservative. Not sure why you have decided to attack my political leanings on an issue of economics. I am genuinely curious as to your thoughts on the matter. Could you elaborate on what aspects of a CO2 capture and use in enhanced oil recovery you take issue with?
There is a significant benefit to CCUS for the Albertan oil and gas sector. Billions of barrels of oil recovery potential exists with the proper incentives for industrial emitters to capture this valuable resource, for mid stream companies to distribute it, and upstream operators to incorporate EOR into their depletion strategies. Regardless of your thoughts on climate change this is a fact. The method of providing the impetus for this economic boon to our province is debatable…. allowing the free market alone to kick start this renaissance hasn’t been enough historically. That said, I’ve personally run the economics and $170 is more than what is required to justify the capture investment.

@a_murathe exactly... plus all the standard measures should translate i think: end-to-end encryption, multi-factor authentication, permissions and access controls, on device processing, continuous monitoring and anomaly detection.

@a_murathe The security focused, privacy first version of an AI OS could rely on a ton of attributes for security... I would think. Maybe voice biometrics?
