Life, liberty and pursuit of purpose.. If your views align with the majority, you're probably wrong. Cognitive dissonance is our society's #1 mental illness
35-years-old and at your big age your voting decision for the government where you live is based on who supports Palestine vs who supports Israel?
You’re not bothered by running water, working street lights, clean and safe parks, roads without potholes, property levies, etc - you’re bothered by foreign conflicts?
Yea, you’re an adult child.
Joburg Metro Centre Part 3 - The Basement 🗂️👀
This is the story of Joburg’s building plans crisis. The worst administrative negligence in the history of this city.
Watch this video till the end to see the current state of the archives inside the Metro Centre and how that affects YOU.
In the next video, we reveal more basement politics.
For the past few weeks, the public debate about the amended History Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statements has focused on one thing: its Africanness. Is it too Afrocentric? Does it sideline the French Revolution, the civil rights movement, Jan van Riebeeck, the Holocaust? Is it patriotic history dressed up in new clothes?
These are serious questions, and serious historians have asked them. But there is one major question that the curriculum has failed to address that I think is the more important one.
This is about how humanity escaped poverty. It is the central story of the past two centuries. And it is still being written, not least in South Africa, where we remain caught between the world we came from and the one we are trying to build.
Here is the striking thing. In the new draft curriculum, this story is almost entirely absent.
Cant and self-righteousness are de rigueur at events like the “Global Progressive Mobilization Plenary.” South African President Ramaphosa’s speech strictly adhered to tradition. Some of the funniest moments:
--He decries inequality and poverty, speaks of protecting workers, and says money spent on illegal wars should be used for building hospitals and schools. Yet he presides over a government and party that are comprehensively corrupt and steal money from some of the world’s poorest people, to the great detriment of his country’s health care and educational systems.
--He flatters his audience for “showing those who are powerful that you will not be cowed,” as if he and other speakers are not among the powerful. It’s a great glimpse into the third-worldist philosophy that it is only the West that wields power negatively. The developing world, by contrast, is only ever resisting the West’s malign power, even when it is unleashing horrors on its own and other people.
--Relatedly, he condemns wars of aggression and says the UNSC is toothless (correct) because some of its members are undermining the global order. It’s safe to assume he was referring to the US here while pretending Russia hasn’t invaded Ukraine and Georgia and that China hasn’t invaded its neighbors’ waters in the South China Sea. Again, the “moral” standard anti-Western ideologues use only ever condemns in one direction because it isn’t grounded in genuine morality. It is grounded in fighting the West by hook or by crook.
--He frequently speaks of democracy and laments the violation of human rights around the world, yet his government and party support many of the globe’s most aggressively anti-democratic and abusive regimes like those in China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Venezuela.
--His first invocation of Palestine sparks by far the biggest response despite his speech also hitting most of the other progressive orthodoxies. Palestine really is the current central dogma of global progressives, in part because they believe it is a potent weapon against the West.
--He (again) congratulates himself and South Africa for taking Israel to the ICJ. SA’s government and the ANC do so frequently, yet the hypocrisy of it still amazes.
South Africa’s economic timeline is the craziest self-sabotage I’ve ever seen…
They were hitting 8% GDP growth while sanctioned by the entire world
Then sanctions lifted → they passed 140+ race-based laws and quotas… and completely nuked their own economy
Now they’re sitting at 32% unemployment, zero investment, and a massive brain drain
Turns out when you criminalize meritocracy to force equal outcomes, you just destroy whatever was actually working
No companies want to invest. Chinese and Korean firms have already left
They nuked their own economy by choosing racist laws over meritocracy
Their game plan: legislate prosperity by making everyone equally poor
It’s straight-up economic suicide dressed up as justice
The South African laws are literally super racist, plain and simple.
It’s not complicated: imagine if the law was called “White Empowerment”, instead of “Black Empowerment”! People would have a seizure 😂
South Africa now has more anti-White laws than Apartheid had anti-Black laws. Think about that for a second …
The current South African government has objectively implemented Apartheid 2.0. Shame on them.
Further shocking evidence of the heart surgery disaster at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Hospital has emerged.
Death rates for major heart surgery have reached as high as 20%, described by one source as a “slaughterhouse”. A senior surgeon resigned in protest when his call for an independent inquiry was ignored.
The President of the Cardiothoracic Surgeons Society of South Africa, Dr Elias Zigiriades, wrote to Wits University calling for a full independent inquiry, warning of “systemic dysfunction”, “erosion of psychological safety” and “profound indifference”.
Yet both the Gauteng Health Department and Wits have given evasive responses, failing to address poor management, inadequate supervision, staffing shortages and intimidation complaints against the department head.
Dr Jack Bloom MPL: “Patients are dying because of appalling mismanagement. This cannot continue. We need urgent action to restore competent leadership and save lives.”
The DA has referred the matter to the Health Ombud and will keep pushing for full accountability. Heart patients deserve safe, professional care — not a system that fails them so badly.

DID YOU KNOW?
In South Africa, businesses (both big and small) must tell the state not only how black-owned they are - but how much is owned by black youth, black women, and the black disabled.
South Africa is the most race-regulated country in the world.
The other important thing to understand here, going by what the ANC itself said, the DA was 99% of the way to introducing meaningful economic reforms, until ASA intervened and destroyed that possibility.
Someone needs to write up just how spectacularly ASA fucked up today, a story of unmatched ignorance - didn’t understand the law, didn’t understand difference between recommendation and amendment, got suckered by ANC and voted for a VAT increase they thought they were opposing.
URGENT ATTENTION: Minister Mchunu and Adv Shamila Batohi. The resources of your two departments (@SAPoliceService & @NPA_Prosecutes) are being used to abuse, bully, intimidate and threaten two attorneys who were legally appointed by Fort Hare University to conduct anti-corruption work. I have no doubt there will be hefty personal and business damages claims coming SAPS and NPA way in due course.
