@Hamger7 If it’s not what you meant then say what you mean 🤷🏼♂️ just play it or don’t and like it or don’t. A ton of people love the artistic vision they took and the game looks great
People who wanted a 1:1 absolutely no quality of life changes and only wanted more pixels on the screen need to just keep replaying the original (or 3ds versions). Remake’s should feel like new experiences not nostalgia bait non-innovative soulless copies
@maxcrit95 I mean fun is purely subjective and you can decide that yourself if it is or not, once you’ve played it. But objectively it’s a completely new way to experience the same story, down to how many buttons you have to play it with. Don’t enjoy things all you want, but don’t lie
@maxcrit95 That’d be concerning if you play it and some how can’t manually jump or sprint, your camera locks, none of the area redesigns have been done, and the complete visual overhaul is unnoticeable. Maybe get your eyes checked?
@JavaidUsama@gabagoolgretzky The visuals are extremely updated, QoL changes that have never been in a port of the game, and if they plan on releasing more traditional style Zelda’s, instead of more BotW style, introducing new players to the peak of the format helps them make more sales and more fans
@Avid_NHL_Fan I feel like manual jump is more impactful than we realize, if the eye switch in Deku tree ladder was added whose to say more puzzle/geometry changes aren’t a thing (we saw a collapsing bridge too), and more side quests are still possible. It takes the whole game to really judge
@porcue6 I don’t understand them, to say something made my humans with clear art direction and improved but accurate visuals to what I played on the 3DS version (only one I ever played), it’s brain dead and ignorant to say it looks like Ai. Something that can only produce soulless slop
@TheMarxMachine It just doesn’t, it’s clear the effort they went to to rebuild while keeping the environment, NPCs, and gameplay faithful to how we remember OoT
@arctyswrites Ray tracing and realism ≠ UE
We don’t know if there’s extra content or not. could easily be small side quests and we already know atleast 1 puzzle is changed as small as the Deku ladder change is it may be evidence for more.
@ButterCCM Yeah I don’t fully understand that concept but I’m trusting. D-pad is still mostly open for options (I know atleast iron boots can go on there it seemed) but I’m interested to how the item integration feels in game
“OoT looks like AI” if you GENUINELY think that, you are just as brain dead as people that can’t tell when a video of a polar bear on a trampoline in Arizona is AI
Honestly, EVERYONE remaking and remastering is the problem, not remakes in general. Entertainment is art and I feel like all art forms re-launch, remix, have a second life, and have copy cats that are sometimes just as loved. Through this realization I might dislike remakes less
