His allies occupy several strategic positions in the current government, including appointments within the Presidency, even the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, that is also from the North was not favored as him.

Rather than quietly consolidating his political base and focusing on his rivals within his own region and party, he chose a confrontational approach, publicly attacking the very administration he had supported.

Your battle is with your own political allies and rivals from your side, not everyone else. “We no send your papa!”

How Senator Yari’s Preferred Candidates Lost Zamfara National Assembly Primaries

One APC member in Zamfara State, who also requested anonymity, said:

LAGOS SECURITY

Troops of operation MESA have arrested a suspect found in possession of suspected explosive device in ikorodu local government of Lagos state. Security sources said the arrest was made at about 7:45 p.m. on March 21 following intelligence reports about a civilian allegedly carrying hand grenades around the Agric area during an event. Troops on arrival, secured the area and arrested the suspect who was found in possession of items suspected to be 36 hand grenades.

The suspect, said to be a native of Osun State but resident in Ikorodu, is currently in custody as investigations continue.
