YIF 2026 Facilitator Spotlight
Weβre pleased to have Mohammed Bayero Yayandi facilitate our βGrowth Planningβ session for the YandyTech Innovation Fund (YIF) 2026.
As participants move from building their business foundations to thinking about sustainable growth, this session focuses on helping them identify realistic growth opportunities, set clear priorities, and translate their business ambitions into practical growth plans.
Mohammed is a social entrepreneur, development practitioner, and Founder & CEO of YandyTech Community, a youth-led nonprofit advancing decent work, digital inclusion, and sustainable livelihoods through technology and community-driven innovation.
Under his leadership, YandyTech Community has delivered large-scale workforce development programmes, including the Jobberman Nigeria partnership, which reached over 70,000 participants in 2025, with a strong focus on women, persons with disabilities, and internally displaced persons.
His experience building programmes and supporting young people and entrepreneurs to develop practical, sustainable solutions brought valuable perspectives to our participants as they think about the next stage of growth for their businesses.
Weβre grateful to Mohammed for sharing his expertise and contributing to the growth of women-led businesses across Northern Nigeria.
Thank you for being part of the YIF 2026 learning journey, Mohammed.

Climate actors, itβs time to move from intention to coordinated action. Our climate projects must align with national and global climate policies to ensure they address real priorities, deliver lasting impact, and contribute to shared climate goals.
Ready for the change any-day.
If thereβs one skill I have gotten from administration as a Pilot and Chief Pilot in both my former companies, it is
βI donβt seek talent or the smartest person, I seek individuals that are teachable and have the right attitude.β
I maintain the same stand now as a Business Executive.
βHave the best talent in the world, if youβre not teachable & your attitude is upside down, you not my guy/lady.β
Opportunities will come, be ready to grab itβ¦

Last week at YIF 2026, our participants continued their Business Foundation journey with Tasiu Kwaplong.
In his second session, βUnderstanding Your Customer,β participants explored the importance of knowing who they serve, identifying customer needs, and gaining deeper insights that can help them make better business and marketing decisions.
This session built on the foundation established in Tasiuβs earlier session on βBusiness Model & Value Proposition,β giving participants a stronger understanding of both what they offer and who they are building for.
Weβre grateful to Tasiu for sharing his expertise and practical insights with our participants and for contributing to the growth of women-led businesses across Northern Nigeria.
Thank you, Tasiu, for being part of the YIF 2026 learning journey.
