I spoke to a patient support group last night & there is just no substitute for embodied experience
It’s the difference in flight from a pilot to a bird
The pilot may understand all the physics of lift, weight, thrust, & drag but the bird truly knows what it feels like to fly
@jackefisher @TU_Muenchen@CGH_TUM@Bayer Jack - It has been a real pleasure working with you while you have been @WHO. You have been incredibly supportive of the #livedexperience community and I am certain that we will continue to make real strides with #meaningfulengagement with Maia. All the best for the future.
Delighted that @WHO & @DrTedros launch the framework for Meaning Engagement.
"Meaningful engagement of people living with NCDs in research, health policy and decision-making should not be seen as a good thing, it is the right thing. Patients provide valuable insights Engage them
@LucyAlexandria Lucy was an example and inspiration to those of us living with palliative care needs and her legacy will live on. My condolences to her family and friends who must be devastated.
@faris@johnestevens@Livenadav Closer monitoring of MPs attendance and active contribution to the work of the Commons is essential. Implementation of existing rules about other activities whilst employed as MP is an obvious way forward
The NHS is completely BROKEN
It WASNT broken by COVID/Ukraine/inflation(*delete excuse)
It was broken by deliberate CHOICES to break it
RT if you want this/next government to make CHOICES to properly fund the NHS, reward its staff & provide better healthcare for UK population

Press release says regarding juniors/SAS, 4.5% doesnt cover "covering doctors & dentists not in multi-year deals".
Therefore a 2% award for juniors, would be a FURTHER *staggering* 9% pay cut👇this year alone😢
BREAKING: Cons Pay 4.5% award= 6.5% pay CUT
Doctors - Pls RT if you have had enough of further disgusting erosion of our pay (& therefore pensions) on the back of c30% pay cuts over the last decade
Journos - suggested headlines👇 describing FURTHER
*massive* pay cut for drs
Just had my first session with the mental health services. Whenever you tell your story as a disabled person you realise how much you've got through & how amazing it is you've coped as long as you have. Or thought you had. Very important to remember getting through isn't coping.
Gordon Brown: Every family in the country owes a debt of gratitude to nurses and the best way to do this is to pay decent wages.

Just had to withdraw my comment in the @HouseofCommons saying the Prime Minister had lied.
Lie and remain PM but call out those lies and risk being thrown out Parliament.
This is UK politics in 2022.
