Give up the weapons, lose the south. If the state wants to send the army to fight Hezbollah, they'll dismantle the army and the state alltogether and enter uncharted territory. Nobody has the authority to sell the south to Israel. They are the illegitimate ones who are breaching resolution 1701 by legitimizing Israeli hostilities and occupation. They are not representatives of Lebanon, they are the representatives of the US Envoy Tom Barrack and illegitimate by all metrics.

And by the way, nobody is proposing integration in the armed forces and the formation of Lebanese Army missile strike groups and ATGM strike groups. That's like Hezbollah on steroids, which defeats the whole point of the Israeli demands of disarmament from Lebanon.

The goal is to DISARM as a service to Israel. Nobody's talking about defending the country. The only thing being discussed is how to surrender to Israel and give it southern Lebanon.
