I just realised I was a very strong stakeholder in Arsenal FC due to my relationship with elder, Arsène Wenger. #Smile
Arsenal fans should come and pay their respects.
Congrats to all Arsenal fans, after 22 years of waiting. #Joke@whitenigerian@DrJoeAbah@Abunaah@Arsenal
FATAL ACCIDENT AT MILE 3 MARKET!
It has come to my notice, with unimaginable sadness, the heartrending news of the fatal accident that occurred at the New Mile 3 Market along the Gombe–Yola Highway, which claimed the lives of a police constable, Sharifa Gaina, and another innocent citizen, while leaving others injured and properties destroyed.
This unfortunate incident serves as a painful reminder of the urgent need for greater caution, responsibility and strict adherence to road safety regulations by all road users, particularly drivers of heavy-duty vehicles.
More importantly, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased, the injured victims, the Gombe State Police Command, traders affected by the incident, and indeed the entire people of Gombe State over this devastating loss.
Additionally, I also commend the swift response of security personnel, emergency responders and all relevant agencies who worked tirelessly at the scene.
May Almighty Allah forgive the departed souls, grant them Aljannatul Firdaus, strengthen their families with the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, and grant quick and complete recovery to those currently receiving treatment.

May Allah reward our respected Scholar @ProfIsaPantami with the Governor of Gombe State.
Pantami and every northerner who was in APC before the 2023 election, and left the party to flirt with the opposition, and is now suddenly returning to APC should understand this clearly, they do not deserve loyalty or special treatment from the President or APC members.
I am not a member of APC. In fact, I see myself as a former supporter of the President who has become a fierce critic. Still, I feel compelled to drop my two kobo opinion because the lack of integrity and shame in our politics in the north is becoming embarrassing. Sadly, no matter how decent a person is, once you enter politics as a northerners, integrity and shame disappear, with only a few exceptions.
From the last quarter of 2023 to the third quarter of 2025, was when APC and Tinubu needed influential northern voices the most. Those were the hardest and most painful periods of this administration. That was when allies were expected to stand up and speak out. If you were APC at that time and chose silence, you do not suddenly deserve loyalty because you embraced the party again in 2026.
In fact, it is more respectable to have been openly in the opposition since the 2023 election and then return to the party, than being a party member sitting on the fence while romancing oppositing, during difficult times and return only when things look convenient.
Those who were APC during the 2023 election, stayed quiet throughout the hard times, and are only resurfacing now are driven by personal interest, not party loyalty.
APC should be very wary of them, because once they don’t get what they want, sabotage becomes inevitable.
Ni da Mai Gidana Gwamnan Jihar Gombe Mai jiran Gado da yardar Allah wato His Excellency @ProfIsaPantami, PhD, CON (Majidadin Daulan Usmaniyya kuma Wazirin Pantami) kuyi mana fatan alkhairi 🙏.
In fairness, we should not expect a person, especially someone as well educated as Prof. Isa Ali Pantami, to hold on to opinions and views formed over 20 years ago. A lot has changed within that period, society has evolved, realities have shifted and knowledge has expanded. Yet, some people still expect others to remain rigid-minded individuals, someone who insists on clinging to ideas, methods and ways of thinking from two or three decades ago and forcing them on today’s world. That is bad.
If education, science and technology had not been continuously updated in line with global developments, the world would never have achieved the progress we see today, let alone human beings themselves. Growth is a product of learning, exposure and the willingness to reassess old positions.
Prof. Pantami is absolutely right to change his opinions about politics and life, especially when his continuous pursuit of education and knowledge has shown him better and more informed paths than those he previously held.
We should know that changing opinions and views in the face of deeper understanding is not a weakness, it is a mark of wisdom and intellectual maturity.
So it is Pantami for Gombe 2027.
