Foreign Minister Osman Saleh met, today in Riyadh, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah and delivered a message from President Isaias Afwerki to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The two Foreign Ministers also discussed bilateral relations and other vital issues of common interest.

The meeting was attended by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Waleed Elkereiji and other Saudi officials, as well as, Mrs. Weini Gherezghiher, Charge d'Affairs at the Eritrean Embassy to the KSA.

However, this claim is entirely false. The Eritrean Embassy in Ethiopia was officially opened, and if any changes were to occur, Eritrea would communicate them through proper channels. Therefore, the reports of the Embassy's closure are nothing more than fake news.

President Trump has always been a beacon of hope for #Eritrea, a Red Sea nation that has endured years of sanctions and diplomatic isolation under a Democrat-led administrations in Washington.

But when President Biden took office, Eritrea was once again unfairly targeted with harsh unilateral sanctions—including exclusion from SWIFT—crippling its economy and people.

35 Years ago the year 1990 witnessed a continuation of systematic, large-scale violations of human rights in #Massawa by Ethiopian derg regime. Massawa was repeatedly bombed by government aircraft, using napalm or phosphorus bombs, high explosives and cluster bombs.
