“People will use the infrastructure that you give them and because we’ve built cities for cars, everyone wants to drive around. But if we were to start building cities for people to walk in, people will change their behaviour and will live longer and happier lives.” Taylor Reich
@jayforeman Speaking as someone on the W9 route the service is way better now. There are quite a few route signs still out so the drivers aren’t getting lost (any more than the previous drivers did which would occasionally happen).

Can you get to work without the car? Can you run your errands on foot or using public transport? Maybe you'll discover a new area of your neighbourhood that you would normally just drive past. Give ditching the car a go! @BetterSt4Enf@JourneysPlaces
Let's briefly talk carrots & sticks. There's folks replying on this thread as they always do that what's needed is 'cheaper, safer, more frequent, connected public transport' in order to get folks ditching the car. But while all of that is needed, it's not the only thing, says...
This morning and not for the first time, a driver (@waitrose) went through a red light at the junction Holloway Rd/Madras Pl. Before someone gets hurt, could @IslingtonBC and @tfl look at the phasing of the lights so both sets change at the same time?@CycleIslington

Lucky, lucky #Enfield has a cycling cafe, where you can borrow a bike for free! What a great service from our friends @LondonCyclingC3
This cafe is surrounded by paths through Enfield's parks - borrow a bike, have a spin, come back for a cuppa & a bite to eat! 🚲☕️🍰

My daughter contacted us last night. She’s in Falmouth and her pharmacy has told her there’s a national shortage of creon. Is this true? She can’t survive without creon. This needs to be sorted out.
I've never met anyone with this same opinion but I think the BBC licence is great value for money. My son loves CBeebies, I love 6 Music and the Sounds app is full of great podcasts. Really don't see why others don't see it.
🧵I don't usually bother with this stuff but... I see people suggesting the BBC has somehow indulged me because I'm riding a £7,000 bike. I feel compelled to set the record straight on a couple of points 1/3
