This rollout builds on the platform’s existing tools that guide users to mental health resources when they report bullying or abusive behaviour. By partnering with additional organisations, TikTok aims to make timely, relevant assistance even more accessible within the app.

The expanded helpline network will link users to trusted services in several African countries, including:
