Someone has bragging rights on who created Covid-19. Who named it? What evidence is there to say it came from a bat other than saying it's come from a bat?

You then helped draft and promote the 'Proximal Origin' paper that dismissed the lab-leak hypothesis. What specific new evidence emerged between February 1 and the paper's publication that caused you to reverse your position, and why did you not disclose those early concerns to the public or Congress?

2: Did any NIH-funded work at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, through EcoHealth Alliance or otherwise, involve the insertion or enhancement of furin cleavage sites or other features that could increase transmissibility in coronaviruses? Please explain why this did not meet your own definition of gain-of-function research."
