@Lanefab The existing housing forms are more congruent with the word “village” than the new forms. To call this the village plan is misleading. It’s the apartment buildings plan.

But calculating the tip total post tax is definitely not the law, that part is a scam, and Quebec recently passed a law making it illegal.

Auto tip on a large group made sense when everyone pooled cash towards a single total and inevitably under contributed. They make a lot less sense with individual tabs, paying by CC.

Developers got rich. The city didn’t.
