यही शिव सेना पहले मुसलमानों को पाकिस्तानी और बांगला देशी कहती थी. सामना में अपशब्द लिखती थी. आज आपके सामने गिड़गिड़ा रही है. थोड़ा ठहरो. अपनी लीडरशिप मँगो. टिकट मँगो. बिना शर्त वोट मत करो. जहां मौका मिले इन्हें सबक सिखाओ. देखो कैसे ये आपको टिकट भी देंगे और आपके वोट की कद्र भी करेंगे.

भारत में 14.2% आबादी के हिसाब से 78 मुस्लिम MPs होने चाहिए. आज सिर्फ 25 हैं, ��ानी 4.7% और deprivation 67% है. पार्लियामेंट में मुसलमानों की गैर-मौजूदगी कई गंभीर समस्याओं का जड़ है. बीजेपी कोई टिकट नहीं देती. इनके कई नेता खुलेआम कहते हैं इन्हें मुस्लिमों के वोट की जरूरत नहीं है. साम्प्रदायिक राजनीति से विपक्ष इतना घबराया है कि वो भी उचित संख्या में टिकट नहीं देना चाहता. जहां आबादी 40% है वहां भी विपक्ष टिकट देने से डर रहा है. मुस्लिम पूरी तरह राजनीति के हासिये पर हैं. यह सब एक समावेशी लोकतंत्र के लिए ठीक नहीं है.

This is how angry @RubikaLiyaquat was during the debate when there were sedition charges against 19 Tribal Muslims for raising 'Pakistan Zindabad' slogans and celebrating Pakistan's win against India. The case went on for 6 years. Now The MP court found the case was fabricated after the Hindu complainant and government witnesses said the police forced them to make false statements against Tribal Muslims arrested.
