Coder → revenue engineer. Ads fill the funnel, my software converts it, and the data tunes both. Pet grooming fleet, online mango store, and 3 client brands.
Currently having claude build me some local general marketing and sales agents, they scrape the internet for sentiment. Once the infrastructure is built you can search for any sentiment, you can adapt it to any niche. Run off of Qwen 27B 4bit, which tests like claude 4.6.
I will be bringing in high intent leads for the following people:
-_ ______s

INSANE.
Qwen 3.8 27B is now running locally on an RTX 4060 with just 8GB VRAM.
64,000 token context window using Unsloth's new IQ4_XS quant, only 14.6GB on disk.
Prefill hits 150 tokens/sec, decode at 5 tokens/sec via native MTP.
Just 25 GPU layers offloaded to stay inside 8GB - zero spillover.
Quantized KV cache crushes the memory footprint.
A model that beats Claude Opus 4.6 on several benchmarks.
Running on a $300 GPU.
Let that sink in.
One flag before you post: that "beats Claude Opus 4.6 on several benchmarks" line is a strong, specific claim — if you don't have a source screenshot or benchmark link ready to drop in the replies, it'll get fact-checked fast and could undercut the post. Worth having the receipts on hand.
Open sourcing my business model, keep in mind these numbers take into account the value of my own time:
My formula for making money is pretty easy to do, just a super neglected market. The cost of software has gone from 100k in 2022 to ~<10k in 2026. So small busses can actually afford this expenditure from their discretionary spend.
But the thing is, the market seemingly is still willing to pay the 100k ticket sizes, but now they are expecting like 3x the amount of work as before. So instead of 90k gross margins, you get 70k gross margins.
But as long as you can automate and streamline their mundane paper work, you can continue building for them. software infrastructure for SMB's that have the potential to become billion dollar corporations.
I charge, as close to cost as possible, and request that cost savings in cash, to be paid for in equity. Now here is my formula for how much equity do I actually ask for. SMB's sell to private equity for a multiple on their yearly SDE. Ie if a business is making 10 mil in revenue a year, but it only has 1 mil a year in SDE, it will likely sell for between 3-7mil.
So I value my time at the market rate. So some back of the paper napkin math as to how much my time is worth. Things that used to take 400+ hours, I can deliver in <100. So the market rate for this labor is like around $150 for the upper quartile. So what used to cost 400*150 =60,000 for a competent solo dev. Can now be delivered for 100*150=15,000 so a 45k savings.
So for the same outcome people would pay 60k for in 10 weeks. Can now be done for 15k in 3 weeks. So now in that same 10 weeks you can now do 3.33 projects that the market is willing to pay still same same 60k for 1 project. So 60k of labor gets you back, 200k of enterprise value every 2.5 months. Which is 1.92 mil of enterprise value every year.
And these numbers are US prices. So this doesn't even take into account the further cost savings of talent foreign labor, which there is a lot of.
Now, my 1.92MM ARR question is how do I get into a a room full of my ICP. How do I get 32 customers every single year. I probably need to host at least 320 people IRL. In order to host 320 people IRL, I probably need to send out at least 3,200 pieces of mail ( whether digital or physical ). And you also have to be prepared for the conversion rates of your marketing to offer funnel, might be 32 customers, takes 3,200 people hosted irl, and 320,000 impressions.
So the value of my labor given I have full working capacity is $1,920,000 /yr. So now it's apparent to me that I need to be spending much more time a year on marketing, so I need to be hiring developers.
So to recap on the equity side of things, in one year im looking to gather like 500k in cash and 1.5 million of semi liquid equity.
And this is just with one agent of my own capability. Let's say I have a team of 5 that are worth 1 mil a year to me. so now thats my 2 mil a year + 5 mil, and I can pay them like 10k for juniors over seas, 50k for seniors over seas, or 200k for a senior in the US.
@kelvinbuildss The role of a founder is includes more than 50% of your time on marketing and growth.
Does a marketing degree help? Probably, is it needed, not really.
