One of my fav moments of Dr. Shields’ plenary - when we heard a cry from the back of the room & she said, with a huge smile, “That’s my daughter!” This really made a positive impression on me - you can be an *awesome* scientist & STEM educator, & also have a family. 👏👏 #aas233
