A groundbreaking new trial aimed at preventing life-threatening food allergies in children has been announced.

Doctors at the Evelina Children's Hospital in London are testing new ways of treating young babies with eczema in the hope it stops them from developing these allergies, which have doubled in the last decade - with the highest increase seen in children.
