How could you ever consider walking to a polling station and voting for them?

We pay 5x more as the Conservative party refuse to tax excess energy profits.
Truss being so useless, and Johnson having made himself the centre of attention for a couple of days and made millions feel sick at the idea he might come back, means Sunak as PM will be greeted with relief by many. But this is one very right wing guy we are talking about. 1/3
Just a reminder, as we'll need it today, that politics is not just entertainment.
Millions face destitution, inflation is in double digits, environmental protection has collapsed and the police now have powers to shut down any protest, due to this catastrophe of a government.
The real aim behind last week's budget was to create the conditions where they would have an excuse to cut the state and decimate public services. That is their core aim. See their book, 'Britannia unchained' Banker's bonuses was always a distraction. It worked

wages haven’t gone up in a decade, inflation is 10%, you can’t get an ambulance, GP, or dentist, energy bills have doubled, interest rates are heading to 6%, the rental market has gone mad, rail fares up, childcare is bonkers, and a pound is now worth one dollar. what did I miss
They hate government. They assume that whatever government does can be better done by markets. They don’t believe in the NHS. They think pension and care provision should be provided privately. They hate taxes. And now they are at the heart of government.
The tragedy in Pakistan is a stark reminder of climate injustice. The top map shows which nations are most responsible for excess emissions. The bottom map shows which nations are most impacted by it. Climate breakdown is playing out along colonial lines.
@scribblerlex @Ardipithicus57 In February I was paying 130 euros a month for Electricity. now 135 euros a month. In October it will be 135 euros a month and in January it will be 135 euros a month, that’s the difference when your government protects its citizens from rises & energy companies are nationalised
Record breaking from start to finish 🤩
The #WEURO2022 final has become the ALL-TIME most-attended match at either a men's or women's EURO final tournament 👏👏👏
Dear World, You may be wondering what happens next in terms of the British constitution. The answer is that 3 newspaper owners - all of whom are non domiciled in the UK for tax purposes - get together and choose our next Prime Minister or “Poodle”. The Queen then anoints them.
They claim that Ukraine is why the cost of everything has gone up, this is a complete lie - the price inflations started taking place before any war started, and Rishi is a fan of using money to gift donors or write off corporate debt rather than to improve our quality of life
30°C above normal in the Arctic today.
40°C above normal in the Antarctic today.
It would be unbelievable if it were not true.
And it is terrifying beyond words.
The war we have waged against the natural world has, in climatic terms, just gone nuclear.
I only say the obvious because our government doesn't seem to see the obvious:
1.5 million Ukrainians need a roof, a meal, and some friends to give temporary warmth and safety.
We've issued 50 visas.
Britain needs to do its bit.
We're better than Johnson and Patel.

Next month, MPs get a £2,200 pay rise to £84,144 while the country gets a rise in national insurance, energy bills & council tax.
We’re already in the top 5% of earners.
When I was elected, I pledged to take home £35k and donate the rest to local causes. That won't be changing.
