Over the past year, I’ve stopped praying or practicing ny religion! This isn’t me “decentering” Christianity! I’ve just been on a journey to understand the purpose of life! I won’t say my life has gotten better or worse since I stopped practicing organised religion, it has basically been thesame rollercoaster! I just don’t attribute my losses to the devil anymore! i no longer automatically need an explanation like “the devil did this” or “God is punishing me.” Sometimes something simply happened. I experience it, respond to it, learn from it, and keep going

I still don’t have the answers to life, I don’t know the origin of life, neither do I know what happens after we die, but what I know is that I’m just one person existing at this time period where billions have existed before me and billions will exist after I’m gone! Doesn’t seem like I’m very significant in the grand scheme of things! So for the short time I have here, I’ll live, I’ll love, I’ll do good and bad(unavoidable) I’ll try to make an impact! I’m okay not knowing the mysteries of life! I know there’s a God, I know we all didn’t happen by accident!

What’s the point of dating anymore?

You find a man, you go on an amazing first date. He’s obsessed with you. You spend an extended period of time together without wanting to kill each other.

You start thinking this maybe could be something. So you tell him you like him, because honesty is the best policy, right?

WRONG you messed up already. He initially tells you he likes you too. Then it starts happening. He starts slowly pulling away.

Text messages happen a little more infrequently, you start calling and texting first. You call him out on pulling away, he says he’s “busy”

The man who was obsessed with you when he first met you (because you were out of his league) now has the power.

So eventually, you get annoyed and you send a paragraph telling him that you don’t want a penpal and you want to be treated correctly.

He replies I’m sorry, but doesn’t do anything to correct his behavior. No act in furtherance of his apology.

So it’s done, it’s over. Another one bites the dust.

5. Easy German⁠
Great for learning how Germans actually speak. They have videos, street interviews and listening practice.

6. Deutsch Perfekt – Free Materials⁠
Useful for vocabulary and reading practice, particularly around intermediate level.

7. Lingolia German⁠
Very useful for German grammar and explanations.

8. LanguageTool German Grammar Checker⁠
Helpful when you’re writing German and want to identify grammar and spelling mistakes.
