It’s been a decent day in Japan 🇯🇵
I gave away a bit of time on the stages either side of lunch, which was disappointing, but otherwise it’s been a pretty good day overall. The conditions haven’t been easy, with very technical stages, so overall I’m reasonably happy. 1/2
44 years ago today we were liberated by 2 Para. We had been locked up for 29 days , boy we were all pleased to see them ! Please retweet so that this message is seen.
Another full on day but happy with how it went and good to consolidate our lead going into the final day.
It’s very hot here, and with the dry stages there’s good grip and big commitment, proper racey conditions and we nailed things well on a couple of stages

Reading another humbling obituary of 103 year old George Dunn who swapped working for Pickfords to flying a Halifax bomber over Germany at the age of just 19. Soon there'll be no more such obituaries and feel they should be compulsory reading at all schools. Lest we forget ...
Giveaway time! 🎁 As a big thank you for all the support and joy we’re feeling here in Japan, I’m giving away this signed Subaru-blue Japan-themed tshirt 🇯🇵
