@Icarusfloats This is actually so exciting, if underwhelming for you. In all my years I have only ever seen these whole and packaged. Seeing half a worm is a real life milestone I never knew I needed.
Join us this coming Monday for the next #ComedyScribeMonday. This week we will be speaking to Hari Rai Khalsa, writer and co-creator of @Radiation_World, a hysterical sci-fi romp across the galaxies! Monday, April 2nd at 9am PST, Noon EST and 5pm UK!
Levels of saying “I want to leave”:
1. Sitting on edge of sofa
2. Looking at watch
3. Saying “is that the time?”
4. Slapping thighs
5. Saying “right”
6. Placing mug near sink
7. Putting on coat
8. Saying “right” again
You’re staying for at least another hour at this point.
My favorite part was when Heimdall ushered all the people of Rohan into the Mines of Moria to wait out the siege of Helm’s Deep, led by Galadriel and Eomer.
@SamKearns1@KatKottonen Well she is exactly talking about people just discovering a genre. I’d also say that in order to go “that’s why it’s done that way!” you need to have seen some of how it’s done now. Filling in context before you’ve even found out whether you like it is kind of inefficient.
@KatKottonen@SamKearns1 As she says, it doesn’t mean those books get left out. But I don’t understand the purpose of disliking something I’m not ready for just because it’s supposed to be good for me.
@KatKottonen@SamKearns1 I agree with the canon =/= starting point argument. Unless you’re in academia, why do you need to go in chronological order of importance?
