After all this nonsense, I hope open models overtake both of them. The doomsaying is getting old, and with Anthropic specifically, I'm tired of their frontier models blocking meaningful work in the bio space.

My wife has brain cancer. I can't use Fable 5 or Fable 5.1 to ask questions about her cancer data. The moment I try, I get rolled back to Opus 5, a far weaker model.

I'm a husband turning over every stone I can find to keep my wife alive. I ask things like "how do we target this mutation in her tumor," and that's a bridge too far for @AnthropicAI and @claudeai. Instant Opus rollback.

I cannot square "our models are so advanced they might kill everyone" with "Fable 5.1 won't answer your wife's cancer questions, enjoy Opus, because our models are so advanced they can't tell a bioweapon prompt from a husband asking about his wife's tumor." Pick one.

We’ve never seen anything like this before. A man was conscripted into jury duty by the government. He performed his civic duty and followed his conscience, refusing to acquit a woman who confessed to systematically executing her three children. The defense attorney immediately launched a public smear campaign against the juror. Soon several other jurors joined the campaign. Then the media. Even the defense attorney’s wife has joined. Now they’re doxxing the man, digging into his past, contacting his family, showing up at his house. All of this both to punish him for refusing to go with their program, and to pollute any future jury pool by making it clear that anyone who votes to convict Clancy will have their life destroyed. It’s truly one of the most outrageously evil things we’ve ever seen from the Left, and that’s saying something. A direct assault on the integrity of our justice system. They are burning down every boundary and standard in their path. And doing it all for the sake of a child murdering psychopath. Unfathomable.

I feel that the 25th anniversary of 9/11 has caused a critical mass of Americans to reach an inflection point on their understanding of that event.

We are starting to realize that we lost the Global War on Terror. We did not lose it on military grounds. We lost it on spiritual grounds. Domestically we are succumbing to the goals of Sharia and jihad, which was EXACTLY what the 9/11 terrorists sought to bring about with their heinous actions.

Now that more and more people are seeing this, we can combat it--not with tanks and bombs and rifles alone, but with our words, voices and votes.

We must actively combat the Islamification of America. Sharia and jihad are wholly incompatible with the Constitution. Islam is a political movement hiding beneath the cover of freedom of religion. When a "religion" itself is not free, it is no longer a religion and no longer enjoys the protections the Constitution affords.
