hmmm...makes sense and that perfectly validates what i've recently seen with a start-up founder here at Stanford.
the founder and her core team had done extensive research in the mental health space before launching their AI therapist app. they're doing pretty well right now.
however, they aren't "AI researchers" per se but more domain experts. at least, founder-market fit kinda works out in their case.
you can't assume that attribution is linear.
dark social and historical interactions with the brand/ relevant product categories are absolutely important if you want true attribution. and no, agents aren't gonna fix that.
the idea itself is based on a false hypothesis.
incredible.
@zach_yadegari paid @MrBeast $500K for an ad in one of his videos - and they almost got it for free.
the craziest part of this whole story isnโt even the price.
itโs the fact that they couldnโt properly attribute the $500K investment.
i worked on the growth team at a unicorn startup, and attribution was one of our biggest challenges too.
is anyone actually solving this? @ZssBecker?
@ideabrowser bold of you to assume attribution is linear. dark social and historical interactions with the brand/ relevant product categories are absolutely important if you want true attribution.
and no, agents aren't gonna fix that.
@jackmcclelland@JasonGrohowski@AforeVC thank you! I assumed the Gamma one was a pathway to FIR. will apply to FIR as well.
also, on your prediction about AI researchers starting consumer companies - curious what's your thesis behind it?
@PavanKumarNY@AforeVC@GammaApp AxG
Building Gamma for LinkedIn content - helps B2B founders go from idea to ready-to-publish posts without the usual AI slop.
Appreciate the opportunity :)
