I have a love/hate kind of relationship with side quests.
I love the concept. I hate the name.
it’s not just a video, it’s film.
it’s not just a design, it’s art.
it’s not just a project, it’s a product.
it’s not just a side quests, it’s life.
This might actually be a loveable killer.
Just wondering, is it actually worth building on top of models when OpenAI, Anthropic and Google will build/launch the exact ( maybe even better ) thing and you can’t do anything about it
Building apps has never been easier.
With Sites, Codex can turn your work, ideas, and plans into an interactive website or app your team can explore, use, and share with a URL.
Rolling out to Business and Enterprise plans, before expanding more broadly.
Coming soon:
A new team section block, built for teams crushing it around the world.
I considered making it the first paid block on solaceui, but changed my mind.
Update:
After discussing with Ajay, we got to know that his team and I independently landed on the same design idea.
Didn’t mean anything bad towards the team. Just wanted to put it out there.
Peace out.
Someone copied my free UI block and listed it as a paid offering on their library.
1st one is mine (solaceui). 2nd is from shadcn studio.
I've always believed in openly sharing quality work before considering charging for it. Not because I can't charge for them, but because I've also used a lot of free blocks/components, and it helped me immensely.
Every free block I've put out is just as good (if not better) than what others are selling for premium. That's the standard I hold myself to.
And when something like this happens, it's just sad.
Please tell me I'm overthinking this @ajaypatel_aj@ShadcnStudio
@ajaypatel_aj Yeah, no hate. Just wanted the clarity.
For a solo builder, it’s just sad to see their work getting lifted. Nothing else.
I agree with you 100% otherwise.
Have a good day. Keep doing the awesome work.

@ajaypatel_aj After checking, this was my inspiration ( from pinterest ) for the design.
It seems your team and I somehow ended up with the same idea independently.
will post the clarification soon.
